An efficient WAPDA
For the past coupe of months our beloved Wapda has caused immense pleasure to say the least by keeping us busy all the time with their beloved load shedding and God knows what else to follow after that.
But coming to what i actually wanted to write about was the efficiency in the way Wapda has been going on with the load shedding and God they are hardly wrong with the timings, i mean one is amazed to see the punctuality with which they tend to shut the electricity off its amazing & truly its amazing that without any doubt they are the most efficient department these days
English Premier League at its best …
It seems like Chelsea are determined to get the ghosts of the last 3 seasons behind them and take the English Premier League title this season and that is what one took out from their performance against Sunderland today as they totally demolished them with a huge margin. Anelka twice, Lampard twice, Cole, Ballack and Malouda socred for the blues where as from Sunderland side old Chelsea favorite Zenden and Bent scored.
Manchester United also kept their hopes alive with a win at Burnley, with goals coming from Berbatov, Ronney and Diouf. On the other side Liverpool again fell victim to a late goal from Huth against Stoke City after leading for much of the 90 minutes thanks to a goal from defender Kyrgiakos.
All eyes will be set on the Manchester City and Everton match later tonight which is of grave importance for both the sides.
What a dud …
The other day while flipping through the T.v channels i came across the trailer of “The Men Who Stare at Goats”, thought that with a powerful cast (Jeff Bridges, Kevin Spacey, George Clooney, Even McGregor)that it had its going to be a mind blowing film but naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah it turned out to be a dud. But there are few instances which catch one’s imagination like
Larry Hooper: Lieutenant Colonel Django used funds from the project’s black budget to procure prostitutes…
Bill Django: That’s a lie!
Larry Hooper: …and to get drugs for himself and his men.
Bill Django: That… well, the hooker thing is definitely a lie.
Though i think that Jeff Bridges and George Clooney has done a tremendous job and they have done justice to their roles but in totality the film lacked the extra punch that i thought it will have.
Home alone and blogging …
I am blessed with this kind of opportunity very rarely when i am home alone and all the creative vibes flow into the upper story of mine
. Today i decided that its a day, that can be easily spent with blogging all day long and watching some television and relax.
Its 11:23 at the moment when i am down to write this post and with Agg TV the day is starting off, Dard-e-Tanhai by Nauman Javed was the first thing that popped on it. With the tensions of terror mounting overall the country people are trying to find alot of different ways to counter their fears and get a life going especially the part of country where I live that is Peshawar has been mostly affected and almost paralyzed by the serge of these bombings.
Its 11:40 at the moment and Talyor Swift kind of ruined the moment with a perfect sissy song and that i zipped back and found out a movie to watch out “Uncertainty”, seems a great movie i have to search the torrents for this one for sure and Noori entered the frame with perfect timing with “Do Dil” one of my favorite song and it happens to be the first single that they had ever sung as a love Ballad.
11:55, and when i was going to settle down to watch PS: I Love You, Wapda strikes its claim and turns my attention towards them selves … wait a minute its now 11:57 and the light is back on hehehe i guess they knew i was to post against them so they let the light in
.
12:32, the last one hour has been fun to say the least, with Lilly Allen music filling in my ears and PS: I Love You on TV (MUTED), in a blanket and on to writing again is kind off lazy yet fun and with that i feel for the first time the hungry mice running around in my tummy. Better go and fetch something to eat
.
12:54, Nothing more interesting about it anymore
, yet i am trying to atleast do something more and thats when i stumbled upon Star One and Laughter Kai Phatkai its comedy was good a sophisticated a well written for the first time by Sudhesh and again zipping and zapping through the channels for something good and **Tuwadah** Cricket is on Big Bash Tournament, the Aussie domestic T20 Tournament New South Wales Vs Victoria ahem ahem will be fun to watch.
6:51 and its high time to put an end to this post because nothing good is happening anymore today …
It’s cold & no gas to heat things up!
I woke up this morning with high hopes of finally getting my hands on some study for the comprehensive exams that i am about to have in 4 days time but as i woke up its was cloudy and in no time it began to rain and the weather though being so romantic turned into a cold monster and i heard my mom yell “not again the gas is gone” it was about 9:30 A.M.
Now that i am writing this post its about 5:45 P.M and lucky the gas is still nowhere to be seen. Going by the flow of events lately i guess this is the next big thing that is going to happen to the ever enduring people of Pakistan. With the given militancy and bomb blasts, the raise of uncertainty, the ever growing electricity tariffs, the hiking sugar prices the last nail of coffin will be the SUI gas debacle … three cheers
I love it when Chelsea lose :p
It’s not that i am a Manchester City fan but the plain thing is that i hate Chelsea and today they lost being the better team and being a team that played with flavor till they lost their temper … Tevez was the best player by far for me from City side.
On the other hand Cesc Fabrigas missed a penalty but yet the Gunners gunned down stoke in style. Arshavin and Ramsey scored good goals i hope the injuries curse leave us soon and we gun all the shitheads down and as usual Liverpool are screwed up
Advance cost accounting … by the way who cares :p
Someone one gave me a suggestion that studying business is easy and one can get along with it even if he does not study hard enough … and now if i got hold of that person i’m going to kill him
and surely i will do that because its not especially when it comes to subjects that tend to technical like what i’ve taken as my majors that is finance and then within that fraction the accounting part that we are doing now days, “Advance Cost Accounting”.
By the way who cares :p
A day that went well … i guess
After along time i really had a great day with no tension what so ever of anything really, had a presentation that i didn’t prepare and postponed till Monday, had a great time with my fagot gang and last but not the least had a great dinner at a wedding which i never wanted to go in the first place but then the dinner compelled me
But one thing that really made me go crazy and sad was the suicide bombing at Rawalpindi Cantt.
GOD HELP US AND GOD BLESS ALL WHO LOST THEIR LIVES
Leaping into a new phase of life soon …
With my days of bachelors degree coming to an end after a week the life is taking altogether a new dimension, alot of things need to looked into relating to different aspects of life but i at the moment am not feeling to take the leap into the new life because with this leap alot of things are going to change and alot of dear friends of mine are for sure to be left behind.
27.10.2009
Though it should be titled 28.10.2009 yet i did it the other way because i was about half an hour late for this post. Exams beconing again but the most amazing thing is that my writers block is finally coming to an end and the story i had been writing is finally progressing again at snail’s pace but at least its moving slowly and gradually though its not getting a great deal of views yet i believe in my work and think one day i can really publish it some how.
Finally http://b-insight.ueuo.com
has also started running and for sure will be one thing to look out for in the future
