Though it should be titled 28.10.2009 yet i did it the other way because i was about half an hour late for this post. Exams beconing again but the most amazing thing is that my writers block is finally coming to an end and the story i had been writing is finally progressing again at snail’s pace but at least its moving slowly and gradually though its not getting a great deal of views yet i believe in my work and think one day i can really publish it some how.

A day i will always remember

October 23,2009 will always be fresh in my mind because of many reasons the day started with an earthquake that jolted me in at 1:50 A.M in the morning while i was watching the ugly truth and then in the morning there was a blast hardly 1.5 K.M away from where i live and felt all the after shocks.

Then in the evening heard that 3 missiles had been fired at Kohat and to add salt to wounds the news channels showed fire breaking down in lahore and a family killed in Islamabad when a dumper fell upon their car ….

Arr nothing good happened in short

Dearth of research supervisors

Research has been the priority of many institutions at the moment in different fields at the graduate level but it does not end here. What i mean that prioritizing stuff and then paying attention to that is something that they need to look into why is not done in the sense it should be.

I had been working on my research for about two months now and the problem is that i have already been tossed around in between three supervisors for a simple plain reason that they have no idea about the field i’m conducting my research at now that’s a nice one first they made me pursue three different topics for each supervisor and then all of the three kicked me because they did not know about that field now that is what one can laugh at …

Getting back to normal …

I’m writing this post in wake of the situation around the country which is improving security wise a bit from the past couple of weeks, as the security is improving Wapda has started its own game these day with the loadshutting so things are improving a coming back to normal.

While i was writing this line even the though that Pakistani Cricket team has started to lose the matches which they are destined to win stuck me by chance so things are really coming back to normal …

Second chance …

Many would have read the post i had written about the professionalism ethics sometime back (if not just try reading it now), where i had in a very disappointing tone refered to how things are being manipulated by people so as to get to a certain position.

As today i was driving to my university for the submission of my research proposal i got the call from that same person again offering me a second time chance out of the box by saying you were the first one i thought of and you are perfect for it, i was like hahaha look at the odasity of the dude first he had me kicked and now want me to work with him again.

Back again :)

Almost a month i have been away from this arena and woof what a month has that been, it was filled with alot of different adventure i went on starting from my comprehensive to the launch of b-insight (a vision of my friends and me) till the last night triumph of Deccen Chargers in the first semi-final of the IPL

There has been a lot happening lately which i’d  be putting into words very soon!

The Great Chicken Hunt :)

I still remember the days when my father retired from army and wecame from Kamra airbase straight to my village it was a new adventure sort off situation for me in those days with the 360 degree change in the environment and people.

One of the most interesting things back those days was raising chicken and playing with my uncle’s dog named Jack, it developed my love for keeping chicken and dogs back then. Now why did i blabbered about all this because in the morning i woke up with my mom yelling at me to get up as the Crooker and Chicken had wandered off …

With my eyes half open i could not do anything else but to get up and look for them in the neighbourhood and cursing the fact that what does keeping them mean if you live in the city but what can one say as it is my mom’s favorite past time lolx .

After a tiresome hunt of about 35 minutes i finally located and brought both of them back to home and putting an end to their extra ordinary honeymoon extravaganza lolx

Times have changed truely

Times have changed truly on a scale that one could not have thought of a few years back. I was kind of shocked to see … no i must say to see and hear a unique kind of begging beseech by a beggar i came across in the market today. It was a new and unique beseech that he was having, it really got my attention.

These days we have seen beggars refusing to financial aid that is less by their standards like one day one of my cousins was talking, he said that he gave a beggar Rs. 20 note and the beggar refused to take it because he wanted Rs. 50 , amazingly what happened today is even more interesting.

By no means you’ll ever think a beggar would beseech so boldly for 1.5 liters PEPSI . When i first heard what the beggar was asking for it, it kind of felt little amusing i mean the idea of begging for PEPSI come on :S but later on it really infuriated me a lot because it depicts on a small level we as a nation are really getting dependent on such kind off necessities that we can not afford yet we crave for them so badly that we’re even ready to beg for them from people who have malicious intentions towards us.

Wake Up People Time To Change

Hail Shadoo!

To many this post might be little out of amusement but for me it is a memory that would live with me for quite sometime now and it really is hilarious …

It was the night when my friend whom we love to call marty decided to buy a tie for himself in combination for a shirt he was to wear on a wedding that was approching fast in his family that we landed in a shop name LUCKY COLLECTION which happened to be infront of a friends shop whom we love to call SHADOO (Monkey).

Now your would wonder what does he has to do with a tie, it is simple, we had travelled about half of peshawar in search of a pink color tie for his pink color shirt but could not find a proper tie untill we landed there. Upon deciding about the tie when we bargained about the price we got a cut of Rs. 45 but that was when the name shadoo (monkey) slipped out of my mouth, i tried alot to gather the moment and get the man back on track by saying my friends real name time and again but it had slipped out. The interesting thing is that after all this fiasco we got more discount of Rs. 50

The thing that is really buzzing me it that was it the word Shadoo that made the shopkeeper change his mind and gave us discount worth Rs. 95 or was it just destined to happen. I guess the first instance has more chance of occurance than the later one

Back again

It has been nearly more than two months that I had written something for my blog page and now I am trying to revive my writing habits because of many reasons out of which boredom is the main contributor along with the need to read write and collect new days because I feel the need to update myself.
A lot took place in these almost two and half months that I have stayed away from this place and it has taken its effects in giving way too many shades to my life. I had some memorable days of life in between this period and some weird days too which I tend to forget but at times fail miserably with it.
The highest points of this period had been the trip I had to LUMS for the Young Leaders & Entrepreneurs Summit’09, along with my selection at the U-Rock campaign by U-Fone as an interceptor and low points such as arrr I guess I should give it a skip here …
