US Open Final: Clash of experience Vs youth

September 8, 2008 Leave a comment

And the finally the semi final clash between Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal is over after two days and the winner not to the surprise of many after the opening proceedings of the match was the Brit Murray. This makes the final of the US Open ever so interesting as The Fed Ex (Federer) would now be meeting the young Brit Murray who after Greg Rusedski became the first Brit to reach a slam final and would be eying to go one better, he faces a huge task ahead of himself in the form of four time defending champion Roger Federer. Both the players come into the final playing great tennis in the tournament and both would want to win this year ending grand slam. It ought to be an interesting match and if Federer played any of the handsome tennis that he is famous for then all the Federer fans are in for a treat.

And Zardari is the new President

September 7, 2008 1 comment

6th September, for long has been remembered as a day when Pakistan forces really repelled the evil intensions towards it but now in the wake of the new era it would be remembered as how Pakistan got it most controversial president Asif Ali Zardari.

I have used the word controversial because his past and his present turnover from being a nobody to Mr. 10 % to now the new president and the preacher of democracy not even has its loopholes but also it has its short comings. After being elected the first thing he said was that democracy has taken revenge but I would as him if it has taken its revenge then why is the judiciary and especially the CJ not been restored.

For me the restoration of CJ would be perfect and fitting revenge for the democracy and to the extend I know they will never be restored.

We as a nation has been struggling for great leaders after Quaid-e-Azam and his fellows and its now more than 60 years, I don’t see any hope of resurrection in the near future. I pray to God that this nation wakes up and takes things into their hand because I read somewhere,

“You don’t have to believe in your government to be a good Pakistani, you have to believe in your country”

Federer on the the roll at US Open

September 7, 2008 Leave a comment

Federer again into the U.S Open final and god I’m really relieved to see him in the finals again the last time it really broke ma heart to see him lose to Nadal in the Wimbledon finals and this time may be Murray comes into the finals with him or may be his long time rival Nadal makes a comeback in his semifinal clash but what I’m looking forward to is a crunch final and hope that Fedex(Federer) wins it for fifth consecutive time

Do marketers actually decieve us

September 5, 2008 1 comment

Many a times I hear a sentence that a marketer is always on a look out to deceive people and get them into a fix of mental state so that they can buy their products. Many times people tend to think that marketing is nothing but a simple deja vu that helps the marketers sell products.

The more I think about it the more I come to know that they are wrong in all sense, I’m saying it not because I’m a business student my self but I’m saying it because it is indeed the marketing that helps the ordinary man to realize what his actual need is and how that is to be fulfilled and by which product it can be fulfilled to best.

Looking at the last sentence many of the readers might say that it proves a point that marketers make things that we don’t need our need, well I would say that they don’t do it they are just a bunch of people who sense the need earlier than a simple or ordinary man can.

This ability gives them a upper hand that at times comes under the scanner, but a simple question I would ask if it had not been for them I don’t think that the markets would have a ever so compelling competition to make the best product and we as the ultimate consumers would not have the life of luxury that we have now.
