Another blast but WHY!

I sat to eat my supper today after coming back from giving two hectic and tiresome papers infornt of the tv so that i could find something amusing to divert my attension from the long papers and the rough day i had today but found about the the suicide blast in a mosque at Jamrud little outside peshawar.

I could not gulp my supper then onwards after i saw what people were going through, the blood and the bodies lying all around and kept on thinking why is it all happening.

In the not so distant past this suicide bombing found a way into out beloved Pakistan for no reason and it’s not the first time that mosques have been targeted but i just can not make my mind about those people who are doing it do they really think they are going to get heaven for it alas!

Even a 4 year old can tell that those doing this are not in the fold of Islam they are doing so becuase they want to tarnish the image of Islam, many families have lost their loved ones once again today becuase of this hideous  and cowardly act on the part of who ever has done so.

Hail Shadoo!

To many this post might be little out of amusement but for me it is a memory that would live with me for quite sometime now and it really is hilarious …

It was the night when my friend whom we love to call marty decided to buy a tie for himself in combination for a shirt he was to wear on a wedding that was approching fast in his family that we landed in a shop name LUCKY COLLECTION which happened to be infront of a friends shop whom we love to call SHADOO (Monkey).

Now your would wonder what does he has to do with a tie, it is simple, we had travelled about half of peshawar in search of a pink color tie for his pink color shirt but could not find a proper tie untill we landed there. Upon deciding about the tie when we bargained about the price we got a cut of Rs. 45 but that was when the name shadoo (monkey) slipped out of my mouth, i tried alot to gather the moment and get the man back on track by saying my friends real name time and again but it had slipped out. The interesting thing is that after all this fiasco we got more discount of Rs. 50 🙂

The thing that is really buzzing me it that was it the word Shadoo that made the shopkeeper change his mind and gave us discount worth Rs. 95 or was it just destined to happen. I guess the first instance has more chance of occurance than the later one 😉

Restoration of Judges: will anything change

A constant question that has been lingering in my mind is that with the restoration of Chaudary Iftihar Hussain The  Cheif Justise of Pakistan along with  other judges that had been suspended,  will anything change or will it be the same old story that has been prevailing.

This has been thought provoking because people of Pakistan has already suffered alot due to barbaric rulers that have drank the blood of those very people whom had shown confidence in them that they would lead them on to the right path but that has merely been a dream.

After a great deal of struggle now the judges have been restored and i hope it would be a ray of light in this current stream of darkness because the people of Pakistan needs someone to stand up for them and their rights in the rightful manner.

Spotlights!

At times we stand at the point of life where we think that we’re in the spotlight, it is I that would be doing most of the things and would be in the lead followed by many and this feeling to be followed by many gives us a sense of power.

But as spidi’s uncle Ben says “With great powers comes great responsibilities”, is that what we forget when we have this spotlight upon us.  Pondering over it, yes you should i mean if there is a bit of concience left in a person he or she would definitely think about it.

Moreover we as a  Pakistani nation should think about it and think about it really fast that those idiotic personnel that we have elected to govern us or i must say that they themselves have elected theirselves not to govern us but to rule us, Do they deserve the spotlight of power?

Back again

It has been nearly more than two months that I had written something for my blog page and now I am trying to revive my writing habits because of many reasons out of which boredom is the main contributor along with the need to read write and collect new days because I feel the need to update myself.
A lot took place in these almost two and half months that I have stayed away from this place and it has taken its effects in giving way too many shades to my life. I had some memorable days of life in between this period and some weird days too which I tend to forget but at times fail miserably with it.
The highest points of this period had been the trip I had to LUMS for the Young Leaders & Entrepreneurs Summit’09, along with my selection at the U-Rock campaign by U-Fone as an interceptor and low points such as arrr I guess I should give it a skip here …
