Will GM follow Chrysler?

With the financial crisis likely to continue for some time after things are amended it really has hit hard upon many globally reputed organization. Apart from the financial institutions very few notable industries had been affected by the global phenomenon.

Among the notable affectie’ these days Chrysler and GM motors had been making news day in and day out while the first one has filed for bankruptcy GM has been trying hard to maintain itself and does not go bankrupt.

May 2, was to be the deadline for its bondholders to come up with the inking of the restructuring agreement with a day passing by lets see if GM motors will be able to make it till June 1 or will another one of the prominent automobile industries file for bankruptcy.

Importance of technology can never be denied in any field of work, using better technology not only cuts the costs by a huge margin and saves you time, it also enables one to keep pace with the modern and more advanced standards. A lot has been said about the utility of technology in regard to businesses and lately it has been unanimously concluded that it has great importance and a key role to play in not one but many business sectors.

The importance of technology can not be denied, one can not limit its usage to a single particular field. Taking the example of my friend’s father who is building a motorcycle manufacturing plant he said the other day when I was visiting him and I quote,

“Technology has really made a big difference, manufacturing to the accounting entries it has revolutionized the whole business scenario. Even if we take the very local market we would find that the most quality things manufactured these days not only would be made by a more better and advanced machinery but they would be proving less costly than others present in the market for the manufacturer”.

If one looks at this very simple statement by him we would see that technology’s presence is undeniable, its usages ranges from the very core basics to the more complicated matters in the business world. May it be the cut in the costs or improving the quality of the product we are offering it really makes a huge difference.

Do marketers actually decieve us

Many a times I hear a sentence that a marketer is always on a look out to deceive people and get them into a fix of mental state so that they can buy their products. Many times people tend to think that marketing is nothing but a simple deja vu that helps the marketers sell products.

The more I think about it the more I come to know that they are wrong in all sense, I’m saying it not because I’m a business student my self but I’m saying it because it is indeed the marketing that helps the ordinary man to realize what his actual need is and how that is to be fulfilled and by which product it can be fulfilled to best.

Looking at the last sentence many of the readers might say that it proves a point that marketers make things that we don’t need our need, well I would say that they don’t do it they are just a bunch of people who sense the need earlier than a simple or ordinary man can.

This ability gives them a upper hand that at times comes under the scanner, but a simple question I would ask if it had not been for them I don’t think that the markets would have a ever so compelling competition to make the best product and we as the ultimate consumers would not have the life of luxury that we have now.
